Limestone Retaining Wall in Milford, Michigan
This Chocolate Limestone retaining wall is the preferred color choice for this client. Limestone has become available in several colors these days. This dark brown color comes from Canada. These pieces are typically 5 – 6′ long and 30″ wide. I try and select the same thickness but these are natural stone. The stone shown here is in the 8″ thick range. Set on a severe slope we have 12″ of compacted base with a fabric membrane below and behind the entire wall.
