Boulder Wall in Highland Michigan
This large boulder wall was constructed in Highland Michigan this Spring.As always we have heavy duty geotextile behind all the boulders. On this particular job the client needed to get to his back yard with a vehicle from time to time so we had to cut back the existing hill severely. The boulders follow the grade above. We planted Burning Bush above the wall because that shrub has a root system ideally designed to hold soil on a slope. On the floor we installed fabric and coated the fabric with 4″ of power compacted 21AA crushed limestone.
