Backyard Stone Steps in Milford, Michigan
Thirty five Stone Steps were needed to get up this hill in Milford, Michigan! We installed 4-5′ wide random cut stone steps that were 61/2″ in rise, typical. All steps are set on compacted stone base. We bordered the steps with 12-18″ boulders to reduce erosion onto the steps. We built the steps in a pleasant, winding design to add interest. These steps lead down to a family fire pit for evening social times.
